When diagnosed early, testicular cancer is a type of cancer that can be completely cured. It accounts for 5% of urological cancers and is found in both testicles in 1-2% of patients. Approximately 90-95% of testicular cancers originate from germ (reproductive) cells.

Testicular cancer typically occurs between the ages of 15 and 30, but it can also be seen in children aged 0 to 10 and in men over the age of 60.

The prevalence of testicular tumors in the population is approximately 2 to 3 cases per 100,000. Testicular cancer represents 1-2% of cancers seen in men, primarily occurring in young to middle-aged individuals (ages 15 to 30).
